The Blinkers Manifesting Mistake

Apocryphal Arabic saying: “Trust in God but tie up your camels!”

There’s a common delusion in the mind-twinkie crowd is that you just snap your mental fingers and the universal waiter brings you anything you desire instantly! These kinds of folks are usually detectable by talking a good game but having no nice stuff, boring lives and heads full of sand. The real problem here is that it’s not actually an outright lie… it’s a partially accurate picture of things.

Using manifesting processes DOES sometimes plunk exactly what you asked for right in your lap with no ‘work’ done on your behalf. This is extremely fun when it happens. However, if you expect it to play out like that ALL the time, you’ll end up fat and useless with no redeeming qualities and limit your ability to get stuff done in the physical world. You exist in a mental/spiritual AND physical level at the same time, so use BOTH sides to your advantage!

The fastest, most efficient course is to crank BOTH sides up hard and fast (in a laid back and playful manner of course). What happens more often is very synchronistic opportunities just ‘pop-up’… and can arrive in many different ways.

For example, you’re using your mind to attract more money resources to you. Within the next few days you might get a bonus or a raise at work, you might get a tax rebate, win some money, be gifted it by someone, find something valuable to others in the attic that you sell on eBay, earn it through some well paid overtime, have some business opportunity come your way, get a refund, receive the actual thing you wanted the cash for in the first place, or of course just find a envelope stuffed with nonsequential high denomination bills lying in your garden!.

Sometimes the most direct route to the result involves you actually doing something to get it, often something that helps other folks out along the way, but the actual opportunity is the thing you’ve arranged mentally in advance.

This story explains the point beautifully – a small seaside town gets flooded one day and the local priest ends up on the church roof as the waters get higher and higher. He prays for help from God, and being a good priest knows he’ll get it dagnammit!

An old crone in a small rowing boat potters past some hours later and shouts out ‘hey, jump in dude!’ The priest goes, ‘No, it’s OK, I’ll be rescued by God!’. The crone rows off.

Several hours later, darker and colder and the waters still higher still a rescue helicopter flies past… and the guys shouts down, ‘Hey, need a lift?’ and the priest goes, ‘No, it’s OK, I’ll be rescued by God!’ The chopper flies off.

More hours pass, the water is colder, deeper and the priest is now standing on the cross atop the nearly underwater church… when an ocean liner sails by and someone shouts, ‘Hey, swim over here and we’ll get you out!’… to which the priest goes, ‘No, it’s OK, I’ll be rescued by God!’

Shortly after the priest is swept to sea and drowns. He finds himself at the pearly gates, (slightly damp and grumpy) and says to God ‘Hey, didn’t you hear my prayers, I thought you were going to rescue me?’ To which God booms, ‘I sent you three rescue vehicles you idiot!’

Point of the story – MENTAL things stuff affects MENTAL world occurrences… which has a knock on effect in the PHYSICAL WORLD, you then FOLLOW UP on the real world opportunities with PHYSICAL steps to lock them into place.
