Living things give off an energy field that’s measurable with a growing collection of technical devices and more usefully the human central nervous system.
Pretty much anyone can easily learn how to feel and influence energy fields playing with a few simple drills. In our experience it’s a lot faster to do this than argue over whether there’s any such thing or not, bearing in mind that energy sensitivity is a) downplayed and thus reinforced out in western culture generally b) a learnable skill requiring practice to get really good at and c) subject to the usual bell graph distributions through the population – some folks will just suck at it, colloquially know as ‘bricks’.:)lol
We’re assuming that you’re not one of those poor unfortunates as you’re actually reading this blog so lets crack on with some drills…
Experiment #1: Start to rub your hands together… letting the fingers interlace a bit so each finger rubs along side it’s opposite one. Take a few deep slow breaths as you do this and relax a bit more. Do about a minute or two.
Turn your left hand so it’s in front of you, pinkie side of the hand to the floor, fingers pointing forwards, like you’d reach out to shake someone’s hand.
Take your right hand and turn the palm parallel to the floor, fingers a couple of inches away from your left palm.
Now slowly move the right hand fingers up and down across the left palm, without touching. Notice any sensations in the palm or rest of the left hand.
After a couple of minutes of that, imagine the fingers of your right hand have grown longer… as if they were maybe a foot long, and continue stroking these long fingers through the left palm.
Now imagine the left hand has swollen up a bit… maybe an inch or so all over and continue moving the right fingers through the palm.
What do you notice? What does it feel like? Where do you notice the sensations?
Most people report warmth, tingling, pulsing, electrical or magnetic sensations, sometimes cold or prickly feelings.
