> Use Your Head by Tony Buzan. New to speed learning? Here’s a good place to start – concise chapters and how-to’s for half a dozen different aspects of learning and cognition, and exactly how to use it now.
> The MindMap Book by Tony Buzan. Expanded colour version of the mindmap info above. Nice ideas.
> Photoreading by Paul Scheele – How to crank reading speed up to 25,000 wpm range. Most speed reading programs can put people in the 1-2500 wpm range with a little practice. PR uses your brains photographic memory to photographically capture pages followed by techniques to grab the info back out of storage later for use. They also do a CD set too.
> The Memory Book by Tony Buzan. Great intro to several different memory training systems, how to use them to pretty much remember anything for good.
> Speed Reading Book by Tony Buzan – in a one day seminar (based on nothing more than the first 2 and a half chapters from this book) I shifted my rather lazy reading speed from around 500 to just over 5000 wpm with slightly increase comprehension when tested. There’s 15 chapters in here. Nuff said. Excellent companion to Scheele’s PhotoReading book and the Einstein Factor.
> Accelerated Learning by Colin Rose/Brian Tracy – Some of these drills are getting a little old hat these days, but most material still good. Nightingale Conant still has it new and I’ve found copies on ebay for about the price of a pizza.
